I know jumper season started in September or October but I can honestly say I haven’t really started wearing layers and investing in new knitwear until now. I refused to accept it was cold and wore my denim jacket for as long as possible. I knew what would happen once I started buying jumpers, I just wouldn’t stop. There is so much out there at the moment, take a look at a few more sweaters on my wish list below.
I saw my friend Olivia Rubin wearing this jumper and I automatically thought it was an expensive designer knit. Then I swiped up on Olivia’s Instagram to find it was from the fashion powerhouse that is ZARA!
Zara can do no wrong at the moment and I’ve noticed they have started doing a size XL in more exciting styles online and in stores too. I’ve never really bought Zara clothes because I can’t take the humiliation when the Large tops don’t conceal my boobs or the Large bottoms don’t get past my thighs, Zara was basically cruel to me and I had to make a stand. I got use to the idea of sticking to bags and shoes (they always fit me) until last year when I got this co-ord and much to my surprise it fit perfectly.
Clothing boycott over, I now have loads from Zara and I try things on a bit more. This jumper was a big risk because it only comes in a small or medium but it’s super oversized so PRAISE GOD the medium FITS!
On the weekends I like to be as comfy as possible, I’m usually wearing a tracksuit and trainers when I’m running about doing errands. This fabulous jumper with the ‘stoke me’ fur pockets is great with jeans and Vans. Of course I can dress it up with my over the knee boots and a long t-shirt dress underneath. To make myself feel a little bit more fabulous I teamed with my extra long tassel earrings and my superstar sunglasses. I love feeling like a diva wearing sunglasses when it’s cold, I don’t know where I think I am…
The talented handbag designer, Mo Bacchus sent me one of her cool handmade leather cuffs and I thought it worked really well with this outfit. Because I love mixing textures I threw in a bit of perspex with a Dat Dot ring. The designer at Dat Dot is my amazing creative friend who has just launched her new collection so take a look here.
Let me know what you think,
