On Monday 6th March I celebrated my birthday and now its official, I’m in my 30’s, OMG! With age comes wisdom and in my case a new look for a new year too. The afro has gone and I’m rocking a sleek and shiny bob thanks to the super talented Jacque Graham in Birmingham.
I started the birthday celebrations last weekend at a club in East London with my It’s a Style Thing Squad, it was a great night. Before any celebrations could take place or any photos could be taken, of course I needed a new dress that said I’m the BIRTHDAY GIRL!!! Instead of buying loads and loads of options I thought about how I wanted to look, what suits my body and the colours I wanted to wear. I already knew I would have a gorgeous new hair do so I needed the perfect dress to match that. I tend to play it safe on a night out and go for dark colours and I normally wear jumpsuits or pencil skirts, this year I went for something fresh and fabulous! As soon as I saw this PrettyLittleThing wrap dress I knew it was the one.
This print screams Versace but the price tag says otherwise, but hey nobody has to know the truth right?! I really love the pyjama trend that seems to be sticking around and you all know I love being comfortable. This wrap dress does it all, it’s comfy, it’s a great print, good quality and I felt super sexy in it too, all the things I need on a big night out.
You will have to excuse the pictures, I didn’t plan on a doing a post on this outfit but so many of you have asked about my outfit on social media so I thought it was only right to share the links to buy with you, see below.
The red heels are my favourites, I bought them from River Island either last year or at the end of 2015. I don’t wear them very much because those big nights out are few and far between. The gold ball clutch on the other hand, I bet you must be sick of seeing it now. I just love it way too much, I can’t stop using it, even though I have to hold my massive phone in my hand when I carry it.
I’m not going to lie I felt fabulous in this outfit and if you buy this PrettyLittleThing wrap dress I hope you feel great in it too. Wrap dresses are great for hiding wobbly bits, no spanx needed and a good v- neck gives just the right amount of cleavage.
