SCHUH SLIP ON

Ever since I bought my first pair of Vans Slip On skate shoes about 3 years ago, I have been hooked. This easy to wear, comfortable fashion trainer has moved on from just a simple leather slip on. Now you can get anything from embellishment, metallic and camo print to glitter and pom poms, on this slip on style.

I know I say this all the time but I really did fall in love with the velvet slip ons as soon as I saw them. Joshua Saunders started my search for oversized bow slip ons a few seasons ago. His collection is awesome and he updates it every season but it’s a bit too pricey for me.  I have been trying to find a high street, purse friendly version forever but some brands just haven’t got the bows quite right and they look a bit random. I’m glad I waited because now they are available in velvet and they are so on trend for AW16.

You know I love a bit of asos White action so this neoprene dress was always going to be mine. It has the tapestry trend covered and mixing must have velvet with my beloved ath-leisure influences, it’s just perfection. This dress is basically a triple trend item which means it’s an investment. It’s oversized, hides any wobbly bits and it’s so warm and cosy I don’t even need to wear a coat with it, WINNING!

I love gold jewels so I teamed my favourite gold hoop earrings from H&M and the old asos rings I wear daily with this grey dress. This outfit doesn’t really need too many accessories because the dress is enough on it’s own.

Take a look at my latest YouTube video to see what else I had to say about this dress.

Let me know what you think.
