My favourite thing in life is getting on a plane and jetting off on holiday and Las Vegas was no exception. My long weekend in Vegas has to be one of my favourites weekends of the year so far, Dubai is still number 1.

I’ve always wanted to go to Vegas but I’m always put off by the price. This year my fashion sistah Neh made it happen when she invited me to celebrate her 30th Birthday in Las Vegas, I just couldn’t say no.

The trip started with a 10 hour flight with Virgin Atlantic from London Gatwick direct to Las Vegas. I travelled in style with my fancy Jurni case and I rocked Afrofly/9 for the flight. Naturally we travelled to the fabulous Venetian Hotel by Limousine, when in Vegas! I have tried to explain how incredible The Venetian Hotel is here.

I admit I was exhausted by the time we arrived so we had a quick dinner, I unpacked, showered and went to bed. I know, boring right?! The first night was probably the most sleep I had for the whole trip….

I woke up super early to 37 degree heat, I couldn’t wait to get out in the sun and start the tan plan. Caroline and I decided to walk and explore the Las Vegas strip. We hit up The Wynn Hotel for poolside brunching, sunbathing and hanging out in a private Cabana, you know the usual. Later in the afternoon we attempted to go to a pool party at the hotel next door but it was too late in the day. FYI you have to hit the pool parties early so you don’t miss all the best DJ’s. We had a lovely stroll back to our hotel, which included stopping off for ice cream and a bit of shopping. We had a few drinks at our pool in our hotel and before I knew it was time to pile on the sequins for 1 OAK at the Mirage hotel across the street.

Use social media to suss out the promotors for the clubs and get them to put your names on the guest list to minimise queuing time and reduce the entry fee if you end up paying at all. Our club promoter link got us free entry into 1 OAK nightclub, a favourite with the Kardashians when they hit Vegas. The club was packed, the vibe was amazing and the music was awesome. I think Hiphop sounds so much better in the USA and they played so many songs I’ve never heard before. I had a great night, my sequin outfit was a winner and I think I only bought 1 drink myself, the rest just kept on coming…

I wore:

Body vest top, shorts and bag- asos

Slides- Hunter

Sequin Body, skirt and choker- asos

Shoes- Zara

Necklace- MyNameNecklace.co.uk

I got back to the hotel after 7am, had a few hours sleep then it was downstairs to TAO pool party in The Venetian hotel. Again we made friends the club promoters who got us free entry and a round of free drinks. Sadly guys don’t have it so easy and our friends had to hire a cabana and had a minimum spend for the party. For us girls the sun was shining, the drinks were flowing and the food was awesome.  The music on this particular day was a bit much for me and the Hiphop sets were way too short.

We did TAO by day and TAO by night and of course I wore sequins for this too. Are you getting my Vegas wardrobe vibe yet? I think we paid $20-25 to get in as we got there way after our promoter told us too, arrive early guys!

This was another fun night but the club got empty really quickly. I’m not sure where everyone disappeared too but we still had a great night.

During the day I wore:

Sequin Vest- Reebok

Slides- The White Brand

Bikini- Freya

Body vest top, sequin shorts and bag- asos

Heels- Aldo

Are you still with me? Ok so Sunday was the big birthday pool party. The whole group came together and did this in style at Drai’s. While it was a fun day and Neh enjoyed her birthday, Drai’s is completely overpriced and they messed up our booking so I wouldn’t go there again. Long story but it just wasn’t cool how we were treated especially for a big birthday celebration that had been booked in advance! On the plus side Luxury Craft totally made Neh’s birthday super special with our custom matching swimsuits. We were so famous for the day and everyone kept asking for pictures and Neh got loads of birthday love.

The night was a complete write off as the Ciroc was flowing from early in the morning…

My pool party look was:

Swimsuit- Luxury Craft

Slides- The White Brand

Cover up- Boohoo

The last full day and night started very early! We kicked off with an epic 4th July Brunch at the Bellagio  and of course we raised a glass of champagne to the holidays. We almost had to be rolled out, we ate LOADS! Then it was on to the Las Vegas sign, there is always a queue so make sure you have water with you on hotter days. After posing, boomeranging and snapping by the sign we got on then local bus to the outlet mall less than 10 minutes down the road. I was in heaven, I bought Reebok trainers, DKNY goodies, sportswear etc etc

We took in the last bit of sunshine at The Mirage Hotel before heading back to our hotel to get ready for the final night out. Considering it was the 4th July holiday there wasn’t a huge amount of clubs to choose from. We ended up at The Cosmopolitan in the nightclub with a roof terrace, it was awesome. I think this was the best music night and there were big DJ’s playing.

Vegas is EPIC!!! I can see why people go back time and time again. Next time I visit I will try to do more sites, I was gutted I didn’t make it to the Grand Canyon, but it’s still top of the list. When they say you won’t sleep in Vegas, BELIEVE THEM!!! I feel like I need another holiday to recover from the madness of Las Vegas!!!

My daytime look,

Body vest top- asos

Sequin shorts- Topshop

Slides- Fenty x Puma

Body vest top- asos

Skirt and shoes- River Island
