If I’m not wearing prints, I love trying items with a bit of detail because you know I just can’t do basic. My friend decided to have a black and white themed dress code for her 30th Birthday party in Birmingham last week and of course I needed something new. While I do have quite a bit of black, I don’t have much white so I just decided to be lazy and go for all black with a monochrome clutch.

I’m not really into bodycon dresses or anything super tight and I just don’t want to wear my spanx right now so I struggled to find anything on the high street. I wanted to wear something really fashion with my new closed toe suede and mesh booties. I NEVER wear closed toe shoes on a night out so this was all new to me, but I can’t lie, I did like it.

I searched my favourite online shops, (I can’t face going into stores after work) and I found this fringed, tassled skirt by The Laden Showroom X Meekat. I have been on the hunt for a fringed skirt forever so I was really excited when I came across this one. I teamed it with a crop top I already had and my new heels. My bag is a summer sale bargain from Zara and my jewels are all from my childhood favourite, Claires. Even those amazing gold drop earrings are from Claires. Have a look at the Claires site or pop into a store because they have so many great pieces.

Sorry the pics aren’t the best, I had about 30 seconds before the Uber arrived.

Let me know what you think.
