So this post is a little later than expected but I still wanted to share it with you all. You’ll come to know that I don’t do birthdays by halves and I like to mark the occasion with as many friends and family as possible. My friends at home in Birmingham generally ask me in January what the birthday plan is even though my big day is not until March.

This year I didn’t disappoint, we had a fabulous night out on the actual day and we spent the Sunday being pampered at one of my favourite nail bars, Cheeky. I decided I wanted to up the levels and share what I love with my favourite ladies, so I block booked Cheeky in Holborn at the Hoxton Hotel (favourite place).

We arrived at opening time on Sunday morning and it was just us, 12 of us to be precise until about 2pm. Everyone had an appointment and treatments were done 3-4 people at a time. We ate cake, drank Prosecco, took pictures, laughed loads and of course we left with super bright manis and pedis. I even got more birthday presents which was totally unexpected, I think I should have another birthday in 6 months instead of waiting a whole year.

We all had the best time and my friends said how relaxing it was in Cheeky and how lovely it was to spend a Sunday together having our nails done.

Being pampered is really tiring and made us all hungry so we popped across the road for massive pancakes at My Old Dutch.

Thanks to all my friends and family who made my birthday so special. Big shout out to the team at Cheeky Holborn for taking the best care of us and replying to my 101 emails back and forth to get this organised.
