New York Day 5: So long, farewell

And just like that it’s the fifth and final day in New York, I can’t believe it’s all over. I did the last of my shopping, eating and sightseeing. Practically all of my favourite high street shops are in New York so I decided to avoid those and head to Macy’s which wasn’t all that great for shopping but looked really pretty as they are having a flower festival in store. I don’t shop in Footlocker in the UK but it’s just so much better in America so I bought loads of cool T-shirts and a hoodie. The best thing about Footlocker is they don’t add on the tax like all the other stores so the price you see is the price you pay.

I went to a shoe store called Davids and I really wanted to buy a pair of khaki Timberland boots (they were on sale and such a bargain) but they didn’t have my size *cries*. Hopefully I can find them here. I ended up with my Footlocker haul, more makeup from Sephora and a novelty I ❤ NYC t-shirt, a must buy!

I stopped for lunch at Alidoro, the menu in this place is crazy, I swear there were about 30 sandwich choices. I went for the chicken, roasted peppers and fancy lettuce after taking about 15 minutes to decide. This place is so pretty and the menus are displayed on wooden clipboards surrounded by flowers, so cute.

New York has been AMAZING, I enjoyed it so much but I’m looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.

If you haven’t been to New York GO!!!
